Description

A beloved, very special poppy!
Gorgeous blooms with the texture of papier-mâché are salmon-pink with dark purple "thumb prints" at the base of each petal. The large, extremely ruffled flowers open to 10-15 cm in diameter. The pretty foliage consists of light green, fernlike, toothed leaves. Like other Oriental poppies, Mrs Perry is easy to grow and, once established, tolerant of drought. Resists foraging deer but attracts nectar-seeking butterflies. Grow in a sunny border to give it a whimsical look. Wonderful as a cut flower for a summer bouquet.
