Growing Red Hot Pokers
A tough and reliable clump-forming perennial, red hot poker plants thrives in full sun and loves the heat. Drought tolerant, they require only average soil and water. Deadheading by cutting the flower stalk all the way back often helps promote flowering. In spring, once the danger of hard frost has passed, old foliage can be cut back to about 3" (7 cm).
