Sturdily stemmed!
Massive blooms measure 25–30 cm across and have pink guard petals with a mound of pale lemon-yellow staminodes. Not as well known in North America but the winner of high honours in European flower shows. RHS Award of Garden Merit recipient. Early flowering.

Planting & Care

Planting InstructionsDig a hole large enough to spread out roots without bending them. Set crown with buds 3 cm below ground-level. Water in thoroughly. Plant at least 6 weeks before ground freezes.
